Ever encountered a lady driver sticking her hand out of the window and much to your chagrin turn left when you were so sure that she was indicating right? Well dummy, you should have checked the indicator lights of the car. Chances are she is admiring her well-manicured nails and is herself mesmerized by the way the high shine nail paint catches the sun’s rays and shimmers.

Let’s face it girls, how much ever matt and cream nail paints are in vogue, we tend to come back to the high shine colors.

Always look for nail paints that have good color pay-off and is as intense as what the bottle looks. I have tried many brands where when I look at the bottle and think “that’s the color for me”, but when I try it out I see a-barely-there shade, to my utter dismay. Worst is when nail paints leave my nails yellow. This usually happens with dark shades. So, look for a brand that doesn’t make your nails yellow but nourishes and protects your nails. And when you get that perfect nail paint, you would want the polish to last and not get chipped. Trust me, nothing screams shabby as much as a chipped nail paint! Use a top coat (looks like a transparent nail paint, but isn’t just that) to seal your nail paint and make it last through all the work your hands do. Be sure to cap the tips and avoid the cuticles. Lastly, always use a good moisturizer after each time you wash your hands and before bed, for those supple soft hands.
